Project Summary:

  • This provides a continuous pedestrian path between Garfield and Roosevelt on Hwy 99 including a new bike/ped bridge over the railroad tracks near Roosevelt.

Remarks: Watch for intermittent lane restrictions during weekday daylight hours. Access to the businesses along this frontage will be maintained. Work resumes this week as the Contradictor completes the remaining activities. Watch for truck traffic, workers and equipment entering and exiting the work area directly adjacent to the traveled way. Modifications to the traffic signal are being made and detection loops installed on Highway 99 at intersection of 7th and 5th avenues. The project will provide a continuous pedestrian path between Garfield and Roosevelt on Hwy 99, including a new bike/pedestrian bridge over the railroad tracks near Roosevelt.
